Payments & Refunds
This page explains optional purchases (coin packs/subscriptions), pricing, delivery of virtual goods, and refund/cancellation rules for AlpineJoyNZ.
1) Pricing & taxes
Prices are shown before you confirm payment and are generally in NZD unless stated otherwise. Where required, prices include GST (New Zealand Goods and Services Tax). Prices may vary by platform (e.g., App Store/Google Play) and may change from time to time; the price displayed at checkout is the price that applies to your purchase.
2) What you can buy (optional)
- Coin packs: one-off purchases of in-app virtual currency/credits used within AlpineJoyNZ.
- Subscriptions (if offered): recurring access/benefits as described on the purchase screen.
- Purchases are optional. Core app/site functionality may be available without purchasing.
3) Payment processing
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers or platform providers (such as Apple App Store or Google Play) depending on where you purchase. Your payment details are handled by the relevant provider under their terms and policies; we do not store full card details when third-party processing is used.
4) Delivery of virtual goods
Virtual goods (coins/entitlements) are delivered digitally, usually immediately after successful payment. Delivery requires an active account and internet access. If delivery does not occur, first restart the app/session and check your purchase history; if the issue continues, contact us using the details below with your order/transaction information.
5) Refunds & consumer rights (New Zealand)
Under New Zealand law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986), you have rights if a product or service is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Where those laws apply, we will provide a remedy (which may include repair, replacement, re-supply, or refund) as required.
- Change of mind: refunds are not generally provided for change-of-mind purchases of digital/virtual goods once delivered, unless required by law or applicable platform policy.
- In-app purchases: if you purchased through Apple or Google, refunds are handled by that platform under its policies. We can help you identify the transaction, but we cannot override platform decisions.
- Duplicate/incorrect charges: contact us promptly so we can investigate and work with the payment/platform provider.
6) Subscriptions: renewal & cancellation
If you subscribe, your subscription may renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime via the platform/account settings used to subscribe. Cancellation stops future billing; access typically continues until the end of the current billing period. Pro-rated refunds are not generally provided unless required by law or platform policy.
